Data we collect

• Account: email address, first name, Apple or Google sign-in identifier.
• Study profile: level, subjects, exams and revision preferences you enter.
• Content: documents and photos of notes you scan or import, tasks, reminders, notes, quizzes and flashcards.
• Wellbeing: mood, feelings and breathing sessions you choose to record.
• Voice: recordings of your request when you use the microphone, and their transcription.
• Subscription: Tamy Pro status and purchase history (no payment card data is shared with us).
• Technical: device type and app version, for notifications and subscription management.

How we use it

This data is used only to run Tamy: sync your account, generate your quizzes and revision plans, send the reminders you enabled and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data and do not show ads.

Tamy Pro AI features

Text recognition, document analysis, learning path and plan creation, and voice transcription only process the content you choose. They go through our servers in Europe, then to Mistral AI (France), which generates the results. Mistral AI does not use this content to train its models and deletes it no later than 30 days after processing.

Processors

• Supabase: account and data hosting in Europe (London, United Kingdom), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscription management.
• Apple and Google: signing in to your account, if you choose these methods.
• Mistral AI (France): AI features (documents, learning paths, plans, voice transcription).
• Expo: notifications and app updates.

Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, it is erased from our databases immediately; technical backup copies are purged automatically within 30 days at most.

Delete your account

In the Tamy app:

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap Supprimer mon compte (Delete my account).
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your account, profile, documents and files, tasks, reminders, learning paths, streaks, badges, voice recordings and wellbeing data are permanently deleted. If you no longer have access to the app, email contact@tamy.app from your account’s email address: deletion is completed within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Tamy Pro subscription: cancel it from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Minors

Tamy is intended for people aged 15 and over. Where local law requires it, parental consent is needed for younger users.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data from the app or by writing to contact@tamy.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
